Mahsa Karimi, And we have persevered , acrylic on canvas,160x113cm, 2022. Painting.
Some of us stared and didn't even blink so that maybe we could give clarity to our blurry future with our teary eyes.
We waited so much that today fell from our eyes like a tear and sunk into the yesterday's non-fertile soil and tomorrow's tree did not grow either!
Maybe if we didn't have eyes, we wouldn't see and want anything or maybe everything started with only one eye and gradually we became several people with several pairs of eyes in a single face, all in one body.
